& we have one of the more eerie festivals of the year – Halloween!

In the regular world, Halloween is when children dress up in costumes and beg for candy. In Girl World, Halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it. – Mean Girls

This is one of my favourite quotes about Halloween (comes as no surprise as it is one of my favourite chick flicks of all time). Well, if Halloween is the time for people to dress up and girls to look like total sluts and get away with it, then Halloween is the time for lovers of dessert-making, like myself, to experiment and get crazy in the kitchen.

For PoachedMag’s 2012 Halloween edition, I made a couple of cute ghost cupcakes. Not quite eerie and not too gross to look at but rather, cute and extremely yummy. For this year’s Halloween recipe, I decided to go with something more classy. Something that can be served for a Halloween get-together (although I still find celebrating the event as something foreign, but fun).

And for that, I decided to go with a Cobweb cheesecake. Elegant, yummy and yet fitting to the theme, this cake is bound to wow your guests. The great thing about this cheesecake is that while the intricacy of the web looks very complex, it isn’t really that hard to achieve. It just takes a little patience and excitement to get it right.

I’ve posted this as an article on PoachedMag so if you’d like to make this simple yet delicious cheesecake for your own Halloween party, get all the details HERE!

Love,
